The N.A. Committees for Foreign Affairs have closely partnered together both bilaterally and multilaterally under their jurisdiction, the officials said. The Vietnam-Laos relations have become more practical, notably with a workshop presided over by the N.A. Chairmen which shared experience in policy mechanisms for socio-economic recovery and development in the post-pandemic period. Chau is accompanying Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue on his official visit to Laos from May 15 – 17. Affirming the growing bilateral relations, the officials agreed to focus their attention on organizing activities marking the two countries’ Solidarity and Friendship Year 2022, the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic ties, and the 45th year of the signing of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation. The two are scheduled to visit each other’s country this year. Vietnam and Laos also plan to hold a conference on building a shared border of peace and friendship in 2022. Previously, Chau met leaders of the associations of the Vietnamese people in Laos and Thailand and the Vietnamese business association in Laos to get to know their wishes and opinions after being severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic over the last two years. The event took place in Vietnam’s Hoa Binh northern mountainous province. In the final, the squad comprising Ahmad Syazrin Awang Ilah, Zulfikri Zulkifli, Nur Assyira Zainal Abidin and Natahsya Soon clocked 1:23:14 to emerge victorious. Trần Sỹ Tố, head of Ea Na Leprosy Treatment Department (also known as Ea Na Leprosy Camp) of Đắk Lắk Dermatology Centre in Tuôr A Hamlet of Dray Sáp Commune, Krông Ana District, is much-loved by leprosy patients and their relatives. He is considered one of the family. It is only 20km from Buôn Ma Thuột City, but few people know that Tuor A Hamlet used to be an isolated area for a long time. Tuor A Hamlet has been renovated with kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and medical centres, including the leprosy treatment department.
