Slight decrease in COVID cases on Monday

A sixth-grader in Long Xuyên City, in the southern province of An Giang, is inoculated against COVID-19. — VNA/VNS Photo Thanh Sang HÀ NỘI — A total of 1,550 new COVID-19 cases were reported on Monday, a fall of 46 compared to Sunday, as well as two deaths. The latest numbers bring the total national caseload to 10,698,180 so far. Among the new infections, just two were imported and the rest were domestic. A total of 1,355 new transmissions were detected in the community. The capital city of Hà Nội again recorded the highest number of infections with 437, followed by northern Bắc Ninh Province with 98. Quỳnh finished first with a time of 1:18.06 to get the victory, followed by Zainal Abidin Nur Assyira of Malaysia with a time of 1:22.14 and Malaysian Soon Natahsya clocking in at 1:23. At the SEA Games 30 held in the Philippines in 2019, Quỳnh also bagged the gold medal in the same category.
