Vietnamese pop star Noo Phuoc Thinh will perform at the ASEAN Fantasia 2019 at the Chanwon Veledrome in Busan, South Korea, on November 24. The event is part of the ASEAN-Repulic of Korea Commemorative Summit 2019, which will open in Busan in November 27. The singer will share the stage with famous singers from countries in the region, including singer PSY and the girl band BoA of South Korea. Tia Thuy Nguyen has become the first Vietnamese designer to have her artwork put on display as part of the prestigious art collection at the Château La Coste. The installation piece is titled the Silver Room and has a height of 16.2 metres, a width of 6 metres, and length of 14.9 metres. The artwork takes its inspiration from Rong houses located in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam. Designer Tia Thuy Nguyen spent a total of two years between 2016 and 2018 completing the artwork. It took her 10 months to gather the materials needed such as silver, stone, wood, and bamboo before being able to complete the room. Silver Room is a unique site-specific installation made from natural materials amid the hilltops of Aix en Provence in France.
