Mexico becomes bright spot for Vietnam’s tra fish exports
According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), in the first seven months of this year, tra fish exports to Mexico grew by 73%, reaching 73.5 million USD and accounting for 4.5% of Vietnam's total turnover. Over 90% of tra fish shipped to the market were frozen fillets. In July alone, the country spent more than 11 million USD on the Vietnamese product, doubling that of the same period last year. Le Hang, Deputy Director of the VASEP Training and Trade Promotion Center, said with the advantage of competitive prices, plus preferential tax benefits under the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), Vietnamese seafood remains a good choice for Mexican importers. Vietnamese start-up enters top five innovators in plastic waste settlement
Hanoi (VNA) – Plastic People has been the only Vietnamese innovator in the Top 5 of the Plastic Waste to Value Southeast Asia Challenge to tackle plastic waste mismanagement in the region. The challenge was jointly launched by The Incubation Network, in partnership with the Global Plastic Action Partnership, UpLink by the World Economic Forum, and the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, aiming to accelerate innovative solutions that are focused on p lastic recycling and upcycling in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Quang Ninh revives OCOP product promotion to boost post-pandemic recovery

Of the total, 267 have been rated from three to five stars. Most of OCOP products win preference by customers and have gained a strong foothold in the market, with many now available in foreign countries. Danish seminar shares agricultural experience with Vietnamese firms
The deputy minister was speaking at the seminar "Danish experiences and solutions in sustainable agri-food production" on August 17. Tien underscored Denmark as one of the leading countries in agriculture and sustainable development. Denmark's experiences, he believed, would help Vietnamese firms speed up on the road to high-tech and climate-smart agriculture.
