Vietnam and Cambodia have been fostering their security and defense ties and sticking to the principle of not allowing hostile forces to use one’s territory to harm the other, Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has said. The Vietnamese official was speaking at the ceremony to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Cambodia diplomatic relations held in Hanoi on Friday. In his opening speech, deputy PM Khai, on behalf of the Vietnamese Party, State leaders and people, extended his greetings to the Cambodian counterparts on the significant day of the two nations. Tourism authorities in An Giang Province are exploring ways to include trekking in the Bay Nui Mountain region – a new hotspot for trekkers from across Vietnam – in its tourism strategy. Bay Nui (Seven Mountains) is a range of small mountains located in Tri Ton and Tinh Bien Districts, An Giang Province, near the border with Cambodia. At 716 meters above sea level and 7,500 meters in diameter, Cam Mountain is the largest in the Bay Nui mountain range. The Cam Mountain Tourist Site Management Board and the An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center are working together to develop and test sports tourism in the Bay Nui area, which they hope will attract visitors looking for tours that involve walking, sightseeing, and enjoying local cuisine. A female patient had arrived in the emergency room in a state of confusion. She had trouble speaking and paralysis on the right side of the body. After examination and the necessary tests, doctors diagnosed the patient as suffering a stroke caused by atrial fibrillation and tachy-brady syndrome. After consultation, it was decided the patient needed a permanent pacemaker. The surgery was performed that night. It was incredibly successful. The patient was in stable health condition and discharged from the hospital four days later, to the joy of family and relatives.
