Vietnam U19s to play Japan, Saudi Arabia in friendly tournament
Vietnam’s U19 team are set to host Japan, Myanmar, and Saudi Arabia in an international U19 tournament which is scheduled to take place in the southern province of Binh Duong from August 5 to August 11. The competition will see four teams play in a round-robin format, with the first and second-placed teams progressing to the final match. The two remaining teams will then play against each other for the third-placed position. All fixtures in the competition will be held at 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on August 5, August 7, August 9, and August 11, respectively. The tournament will be organised after the 2022 AFF U19 Youth Championship due to run between July 2 and July 15, and before the AFC U20 Asian Cup qualifiers due to run from September 14 to September 18. Australia to launch new Plastics Innovation Hub in Việt Nam

Globally, 75 per cent of plastic produced becomes waste. To help address this, the Plastics Innovation Hub Việt Nam aims to significantly reduce plastic waste through key stakeholder collaborations and science and innovation excellence. 16 Vietnamese designers to open Thailand Fashion Week 2022
A fashion collection by 16 young Vietnamese designers is set to open Thailand Fashion Week 2022 for the first time, with the outfits on show featuring images of Vietnamese cultural heritages. Vietnamese designers will open Thailand Fashion Week 2022. Local designs, which will be showcased at the event draw inspiration from traditional art forms, including Chau Van, a type of ritual singing, Don Ca Tai Tu, a form of southern folk song, Quan Ho, a type of love duet singing, and water puppetry. Furthermore, there will be also designs of evening gowns and suits on show, helping to introduce different culture of countries such as Thailand, the United States, France, Australia, Brazil, South Africa, Spain, and Vietnam.
