(Photo: VNA) Sydney (VNA) – The Australia-Vietnam Business Council (AVBC) held a conference in Sydney on June 23 to promote trade and investment partnerships through the strengthening of the Australia-Vietnam Enhanced Economic Engagement Strategy that was reached between the two countries in late 2021. Addressing the event, which drew nearly 100 businesses from a variety of sectors, AVBC President Kiem Dinh said that the conference marked a commitment from Vietnam and Australia to promote their partnership in many areas, heading to sustainable and inclusive economic growth in both countries. Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Australia Centre (VAC) has been officially launched by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and the Australia n Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), becoming a milestone in the Vietnam-Australia strategic partnership. According to the Australian Embassy in Vietnam , the establishment of the centre is in implementation of an agreement signed by the Prime Ministers of the two countries in August 2019. The Hanoi-based centre aims to help Vietnam access Australia’s knowledge, skills and expertise, experience in training and scientific research, thereby strengthening mutual understanding and deepening the fruitful partnership relationship between the two countries.
