During the event, 340 foreign and Vietnamese students from different universities in Hanoi enjoyed the Vietnamese people’s New Year customs, such as arranging five-fruit trays, wrapping “Banh chung” (a traditional Vietnamese rice cake made from glutinous rice, mung beans, pork and other ingredients), writing calligraphy, and making New Year cards.
