A representative of the Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCM City said more than 4,200 tourists, mostly foreigners and Viet kieu (overseas Vietnamese) landed at the airport as of yesterday afternoon. Major tour operators said they served large numbers of foreign tourists on the first day of the year. Vietravel welcomed three tour groups from Japan to HCM City and Ha Noi, while Saigontourist hosted a group from Russia who visited HCM City and went on to Nha Trang City. HA NOI (VNS) ― Viet Nam triumphed at the South-east Asian Vovinam (Vietnamese martial arts) Championships which ended in Siem Reap, Cambodia yesterday. The team brought home 11 golds and 10 silvers. Viet Nam hockey festival kicks off soon
VietNamNet Bridge – The 10th Viet Nam Hockey Festival is scheduled to start at the Viet Nam Hockey Centre in Ben Luc Town, Long An Province on November 4-5. The event is a six-a-side hockey tournament played outdoors, which started in Viet Nam in 2008.
