The energy used by high-rise buildings in Viet Nam accounts for around 35-40 per cent of the country’s total energy consumption. A survey by real estate service firm Cushman & Wakefield (CWK) showed that around 40 per cent of gas emissions came from real estate. According to the Viet Nam Green Building Council, there are about 200 green buildings across the country. At the United Nations Climate Change Conference in 2021 (COP26), Viet Nam committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. The new routes’ launch ceremony was held in Mumbai during the visit of HCM City’s leaders to Mumbai as Viet Nam and India mark their 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The Phu Quoc – Mumbai route will operate four weekly flights every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, starting from September 8, 2022. Phu Quoc and New Delhi services will commence on September 9, 2022, with three weekly flights on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
