Da Nang university signs science deal with Nice (02-07-2009) DA NANG — Da Nang University on Tuesday signed an agreement with Nice Sophia Antipolis University in France to carry out a co-operative programme on post-graduate training and scientific research. At the Da Nang campus, the French university will offer foreign-language courses and support post-graduate research as well as organise academic conferences. The French university will occupy a special office on campus which will take student applications for post-graduate degrees. They will help French students with registration and visa procedures and assist them in finding temporary housing. The French university staff will use English as the language of instruction to teach courses to postgraduates at Da Nang University. I took a course on sewing at the Cultural House for Women in District 3 two years ago because it helps me forget my business pressure,” said Nguyen Thi Van Anh, a 31-year-old mother of two children. Anh is taking a three-month course on embroidery taught by a female artisan at her home in Thu Duc District. “My course has 12 women and I’m the only who is married.
