The ITE (International Travel Exhibition) HCM City 2007 will kick off at the Phu Tho Exhibition Centre with an International Buyers Programme on October 4, and go on until the seventh. Japanese artists to tour Vietnam Seventy artists of the famous Tokyo New City Orchestra will perform a concert called "Sound of Nature" at the HCMC Conservatory of Music, 112 Nguyen Du, in HCMC's District 1 at 8 p.m. on July 14, reports Tuoi Tre. The concert is organized by the World Heritage Concert Committee and Tokyo New City Orchestra with the aim of developing friendship between Japan and Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. *After the show in HCMC, a concert combined with the performance of Japanese Royal artist Togi Hideki and the Hue Royal Orchestra, will take place at Hue City's Thai Hoa Palace on July 17. Speaking at the event, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Foreign Investment Agency Do Nhat Hoang said Vietnam has so far invested USD 3.6 billion in 113 projects in the area, including USD 1.6 billion in 48 projects in Cambodia and nearly USD 2 billion in 65 projects in Laos, mostly in agriculture and rubber production.Hoang asked ministries and agencies concerned of the three countries to promptly refine legal regulations on business and investment, and procedures regarding taxation, customs and labor, and prioritize transport infrastructure investment.
