Cao Ngọc Hùng finished second in the men's F57 javelin throw event. The Paralympian took his best result of 44.06m after six attempts. He was behind Muhammet Khalvandi of the hosts Tunisia, who threw 51.33m. Youssoupha Diouf of Senegal was in third with a 41.64m throw. Vietnamese women’s football squad warmly welcomed in Paris
Vietnamese both at home and abroad have closely followed the progress made by the squad, which triumphed the Southeast Asian Games for seven times and the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Women's Championship three times, the diplomat noted. Vietnam’s 222 coconut-based dishes set world record
On Monday, more than 55 chefs divided into 11 teams participated in an event to process hundreds of coconut-based delicacies in Ben Tre to set a world record in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Vietnamese cultural celebrity Nguyen Dinh Chieu (1822-1888), whose hometown was Ben Tre. The delicacies are made from different parts of the coconut tree, including coconut palm heart, shredded coconut, desiccated coconut, coconut milk, coconut water and sprouted coconut. Vietnam attracts more than 14 billion USD of FDI in H1
Foreign investors poured funds into 18 industries out of a total of 21 national economic sectors. Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry continued to lead with a total investment of nearly 8.84 billion USD. The real estate sector ranked second with total investment capital of 3.15 billion USD. Regarding investment partners, 84 countries and territories invested in Vietnam, among which, Singapore led with a total investment capital of more than 4.1 billion USD. The Republic of Korea ranked second with over 2.66 billion USD. By investment location, Binh Duong led the way with a total registered investment capital of more than 2.53 billion USD, up over 98 percent over the same period in 2021. 7 killed as Hungarian boat carrying South Korean tourists capsizes on Danube
