Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s lubricants make its foray into Vietnam
Being UAE’s most valuable brand certified by Brand Finance, the company expressed its intention at a conference to cement its footprint in the Vietnamese market. To facilitate the goal, the company has inked a deal with its local distributor Redachem Vietnam to unveil its ADNOC Voyager lubricant brand in Vietnam, which can be used for passenger cars, motorbikes, trucks, industrial lubricants, marine oils, and special lubricant products. The brand is not only suitable for many types of super-car engines but also safe for users on all roads. According to statistics of the Vietnam Petroleum Association, the country's lubricant industry posted an annual growth rate of 8-10 per cent with the consumption of 90,000 tonnes of lubricants per year. Vietnam refutes rumor that prize-winning environmentalist was jailed for climate-related activities
Vietnamese influential climate activist Nguy Thi Khanh was jailed for tax evasion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Thursday, refuting the rumor that she was criminally charged for her climate-related activities. Khanh was sentenced to 24 months in prison for tax evasion during her trial at the Hanoi People’s Court on June 17. The investigation and hearing were carried out in line with the law, and the trial was held publicly, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang answered the questions from foreign media during a regular press meeting on Thursday.
