(Photo: SGGP) Market liquidity was relatively low in the last trading session of June, especially in the morning session, with the total trading value on the HoSE at just over VND4 trillion. Today’s trading session is recorded as one of the trading sessions with the lowest liquidity since the beginning of the year. Due to low liquidity, the market was constantly caught in a tug-of-war. Buyers and sellers were still indecisive, so trading was tediously in the market. However, some large-cap stocks, such as VNM, HPG, ACB, and TCB, managed to stay green, so the VN-Index only decreased by nearly 2 points at the end of the morning session. EDPR has reached an agreement with Trina Solar, the world-leading PV and smart energy total solution provider, to acquire the Trung Son Solar PV project in Khanh Hoa province. Put into operation in December 2020, the project has a power purchase agreement (PPA) signed with Electricity of Vietnam under a 20-year feed-in tariff (FiT). In June, EDPR also inked a deal to scoop up two solar plants in Vietnam with a total capacity of 200MW from Xuan Thien Group. Situated in Ninh Thuan province, the two solar plants have been operated since 2020. The deals have an estimated valuation of $284. Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing economies in Southeast Asia with power demand increasing at around 10 per cent per annum. Trade promotion plays a key role for the dairy sector How has the dairy sector recovered from the pandemic? Despite the prolonged pandemic, the domestic dairy market still reached VND113.7 trillion in revenues in 2020 and VND119.3 trillion in 2021. The country produced about 1.77 billion liters of fresh milk in 2021, up 4.5 percent compared to 2020, while powdered milk volume saw positive growth of 13.1 percent year-on-year to 151,500 tonnes. Vietnamese dairy businesses have strengthened trade promotion activities and sought export markets. Currently, Vietnamese dairy products are available in 50 countries and territories.
