Some 155 Vietnamese athletes to partake in ASEAN Para Games 2022
The ASEAN Para Games 2022 is a qualifier for athletes to win tickets to Paralympic Paris 2024. Some 155 Vietnamese athletes with disabilities will attend the 11th Southeast Asian Para Games (ASEAN Para Games 2022) in Indonesia next month, according to the General Department of Sports and Physical Training under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The Vietnamese delegation will include one guiding athlete, 18 coaches, two doctors, and 13 support personnel. The rest are Vietnamese parasports athletes who will compete in eight events: track and field, swimming, weightlifting, badminton, table tennis, chess, judo, and archery. On July 23, a departure ceremony will be held to see off the Vietnamese delegation at the National Sports Training Center in Ho Chi Minh City. More than 100 Japanese companies in the food industry and 30 in cosmetics are looking for partners and expanding business in Vietnam. The practice session began at 9:30 a.m. local time amid a light drizzle, according to Pau FC. Hai, the first Vietnamese to play for a professional club in France, and his teammates were present about 10 minutes prior. It would cost about VND 1.20 trillion (USD 52.18 million) to fill the Nui Beo open-cast coal mine pit in Ha Long City after closure. Nui Beo used to be the biggest open cast coal source in Ha Long City with an average annual output of five million tonnes. Ngo The Phiet, director of Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company under the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group said that they are planning to fill the mined area. "The two pits are some 125 metres deep in Ha Tu Ward, Ha Long City," he said. "We may need some 30 million cubic metres of soil to fill these two pits." The official estimated that the work would cost VND 1.20 trillion (USD 52.18 million) and last until 2030. Housing prices in Ho Chi Minh City hit record highs
Real estate prices in Ho Chi Minh City skyrocketed during the second quarter of this year to hit record highs, with some villas in the city currently on sale for VND700 billion (US$30 million), according to statements given at a conference on Tuesday. At the 'Money Flow and Real Estate Trends in Late 2022' conference hosted by Cafeland , a real estate website, Vo Huynh Tuan Kiet, director of housing project marketing at CBRE Vietnam, shared that houses and villas in urban areas in the east of the city are currently on the market for prices ranging from VND200 million ($8,580) to $400 million ($17,200) per square meter.
