Rainfall ranging from 70 to 190 millimeters battered many provinces in the region early on Monday morning, the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting reported. In Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phu Province, a torrential rain resulted in severe inundation in various locations. Such major streets as Nguyen Tat Thanh and Me Linh were flooded, leaving traffic paralyzed on many sections. The situation posed countless difficulties for commuters, especially motorcyclists. The latest SEA Games gold is the 10th regional title that Vietnamese women have bagged - having won six SEA Games gold and three Women’s AFF Cup titles earlier. Saturday's victory at the Cam Pha Stadium in the northern province of Quang Ninh helped Vietnam move past nine regional titles won by Thailand.
