The donation came after an article about Nguyen Ngoc Huyen Tran’s condition was published in the newspaper. Tran and her mother Tran was diagnosed with the diseases two years ago following a high fever. She had to stay at the hospital for many days. Tran’s father Nguyen Van Bang said at that time he had to sell all the family’s valuables to cover the treatment. However, Tran’s condition did not improve.
