Vietnam and Cambodia have entered a stage of comprehensive cooperation and mutual benefit with a five-decade legacy. Gov’t leader receives visiting Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister
PM Chinh welcomed his guest, who represented the Cambodian Government to attend and deliver remarks at a Hanoi ceremony marking the 55th founding anniversary of the countries’ diplomatic ties earlier the same day, and appreciated her major contribution to bilateral relations. Defense minister holds bilateral meeting with counterparts from Laos, Japan and Cambodia
At the meeting with Lao Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister General Chansamone Chanyalath, General Giang was informed by the Lao counterpart on his country’s COVID-19 prevention and control efforts. The Lao Deputy PM and Defense Minister also thanked the Vietnamese government and defense ministry for supporting the Lao government and people in difficult periods. Exhibition highlights Vietnam – Cambodia relationship
The exhibition, themed “Vietnam - Cambodia Solidarity and Friendship,” is part of the activities to mark the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam - Cambodia diplomatic relations (June 24, 1967 – 2022). Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, representatives from the GDP’s agencies and the Department of Foreign Relations, and Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Chay Navuth attended the event.
