Army Games 2022: “Military Medical Relay Race” and “Confident Reception” events start
The Military Medical Relay Race event was opened at the complex training ground of S. M. Kirov Military Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Apart from participating contingents, the ceremony saw the presence of delegates from the Government of Russia, Saint Petersburg, and the Russian Department of Military Medicine. The organization of the Military Medical Relay Race event aims to improve military medical forces’ skills in terms of treatment, giving first aid, and transporting injured people. Just eight out of fifteen contingents from countries and territories will compete in all contents of this year’s event. They are from Russia, Belarus, Venezuela, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Myanmar. Over 177,989 Hanoi labourers benefit from housing rent support policy

According to the municipal Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, 170,338 labourers working for businesses in the capital city, have received aid worth 85.1 billion VND, and 6,796 of those back to work have got a total of 7.65 billion VND. Two dead, three missing after boat capsizes in Chay River in Lao Cai

Australia facilitates environmental monitoring using tech in mangrove forest
The AQUAM project delivers mangrove environment monitoring stations in critical water points in Ca Mau province. The monitoring stations operate on solar energy. Data gathered by the stations in combination with satellite images will be the input of environmental reports for all stakeholders. The project, funded by Australia’s Aus4Innovation program, was wrapped up on Tuesday in a workshop attended by local provincial authorities and representatives from the Australian Embassy. The AQUAM project, jointly developed and implemented by the University of Queensland and Green Field Consulting & Development Company, in close collaboration with Nam Song Hau Fishery Research Sub-Institute and Ca Mau Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, has installed 15 wireless environmental monitoring stations using IoT (Internet of Things) technology to monitor the health of the mangrove ecosystem. Medical staff at Hoc Mon General Hospital were forced to work in a flood while many patients had to endure both their sickness and the inundation as a heavy rainstorm battered Ho Chi Minh City on Monday afternoon and lingered until the evening. The torrential downpour started inundating the Hoc Mon District-based hospital’s emergency department around 5:00 pm, according to a nurse, and remained until around 8:15 pm when Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper’s correspondent arrived at the scene.
