Fashion designer launches nature inspired collection

H'Hen Nie, a top 5 Miss Universe contestant, crosses the runway in a sheer long white gown with floral details while closing the show last Sunday, her train fluttering in the sea breeze. The entire show was divided into four parts, showcasing four mini-collections made from of different materials and concepts. The show began with dresses, blazers, shirts and miniskirts made from linen, a natural and lightweight fabric with good absorbent properties ideal for summertime and suited to Vietnam's humid climate. The second part of the show featured textured, ocean-inspired outfits in vibrant colors. If the color palette of the linen collection is basic with pastel colors, the third part of the show features monochromatic silk outfits with prominent colors like pink, blue, yellow, orange, red, purple and others. National conference reviews 10-year corruption fight

The hybrid event saw the presence of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, head of the Central Steering Committee for Corruption and Negative Phenomena Prevention and Control; President Nguyen Xuan Phuc; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; along with key officials of central agencies and the 63 localities. Hanoi develops green agriculture

Green agriculture is a closed production process through applying scientific and technical advances, biotechnology and physicochemical technology. Accordingly, a new decree, coded 38/2022/ND-CP, on raising the regional minimum wage for labourers will come into effect on July 1. The 6 percent increase is equivalent to a rise of 260,000 VND (11.20 USD) in Region 1, and 240,000 VND, 210,000 VND, and 180,000 VND in Regions 2, 3, and 4, respectively. The document to this effect also specifies that the minimum hourly wage will range from 15,600 to 22,500 VND, which also depends on the region. The geographical classification is determined based on the employer’s place of operation. EDPR forays into Vietnam’s renewable energy market after taking over a solar PV project

EDPR has reached an agreement with Trina Solar, the world-leading PV and smart energy total solution provider, to acquire the Trung Son Solar PV project in Khanh Hoa province. Put into operation in December 2020, the project has a power purchase agreement (PPA) signed with Electricity of Vietnam under a 20-year feed-in tariff (FiT). In June, EDPR also inked a deal to scoop up two solar plants in Vietnam with a total capacity of 200MW from Xuan Thien Group. Situated in Ninh Thuan province, the two solar plants have been operated since 2020. The deals have an estimated valuation of $284. Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing economies in Southeast Asia with power demand increasing at around 10 per cent per annum. Thermal represents around 50 per cent of the capacity mix and energy dependence has increased significantly with net imports currently at 30 per cent of total energy demand.
