President Phuc was accompanied by former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung as well as incumbent and former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, ministries, sectors and localities as well as representatives from the Nguyen Sinh and the Hoang Xuan families from Nghe An’s Nam Dan district – the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh. Fifty-three years ago, on the 21st day of the 7th lunar month, 1969, President Ho Chi Minh passed away. His testament is an invaluable asset of Vietnamese people. Leading data centre opens in Vietnam

(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The Tan Thuan CMC Data Centre, considered the most modern and safest data centre and cloud computing infrastructure facility in Vietnam, officially opened on August 15. With investment of 1.5 trillion VND (64 million USD) from the CMC technology group, the centre covers 13,000 sq.m. at Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. It was designed by B-Barcelona of Singapore and meets strict international standards for a modern data centre. Hanoi’s students to begin new academic year on September 5

The school opening day is set at the appointed time after the Covid-19 pandemic has been controlled. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has decided that the academic year of 2022-23 will start on September 5 as usual, according to a decision issued by Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Chu Xuan Dung. The decision will be applied to educational facilities from kindergarten to high schools, as well as centers for continuing education. Stamp collection featuring famous Vietnamese waterfalls released

The four 43x32mm stamps, designed by painter Nguyen Duc Lan, depict the waterfalls of Dai Yem in northern Son La province, May in central Thanh Hoa province, Pongour in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, and Suoi Tranh in southern Kien Giang province. Dai Yem is at its most beautiful in the rainy season, when strong flows of upstream water fall to create a breathtaking view. It has long been a magnet for visitors in the magnificent and poetic Moc Chau Plateau. Boasting pristine beauty with crystal clear waters, the over-100m May Waterfall is a charming destination in Thach Lam commune of Thanh Hoa’s Thach Thanh district. It is part of the northern Truong Son karst mountain landscape.
