The Hanoitimes - From December 15 to December 25, the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Corporation (PVFCCo) has awarded “Phu My Fertilizers” scholarships to nearly 500 students. “Phu My Fertilizers” scholarships have been presented to roughly 500 students of universities and colleges throughout the country for the academic year 2014-2015 from December 15 to December 25. Accordingly, on December 15, PVFCCo awarded 40 “Phu My Fertilizers” scholarships to students in the area of Southwest. The scholarship program was held in Central - Highlands regions on December 17 (Dak Lak), and will be held in the Northern region on December 20 (Hanoi) and the Southeastern region December 25 (Ba Ria-Vung Tau). Cham ethnic group in Phuoc Hau develops new rural areas
(VOVworld) – Phuoc Hau commune is home to many Cham ethnic people in Ninh Thuan province. Over the past year, Cham people here have worked with local authorities to pave thousands of rural roads giving a boost to local transportation. VOV report Jasi reports on the initial achievements of new rural developments here. Phuoc Hau commune is home to more than 3,500 households, half of which are Cham ethnic minority people. Over the past year, their living conditions have significantly improved with lots of houses now tiled, lush, green rice fields with paved roads leading to all the hamlets and communes. The roads that connect to the rice fields have also been upgraded, making it much easier for agricultural vehicles during harvest time.
