HÀ NỘI — Two Vietnamese blockbusters were screened during the first ASEAN film festival that was held in Utrecht City, the Netherlands, over the weekend. The films were Tấm Cám: Chuyện Chưa Kể (Tấm Cám: The Untold Story) and Tôi Thấy Hoa Vàng Trên Cỏ Xanh (I See Yellow Flowers on Green Grass). The event was part of the activities to commemorate the 50th establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), with the participation of the Vietnamese ambassador in the Netherlands, Ngô Thị Hòa, ambassadors from other ASEAN countries in the Netherlands – Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand – as well as Dutch movie lovers, international friends and officials of ASEAN embassies. First ASEAN film festival held in the Netherlands
At the event (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The first ASEAN film festivalrecently took place in the Dutch city of Utrech as part of celebrations for the50th founding anniversary of the bloc. The event was graced by the presence of the Ambassadors of Indonesia,Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam to the Netherlands.
