Do Thi Thu Hoai, an employee in Phu Tho province, said: “I have been working at this company here for five years, but the allowances have remained the same for me. “I see that several other companies provide an amount for accommodation support, but here we don’t receive any.” Each month, she receives her base salary of VND4.4 million (US$188), alongside the allowances of VND300,000 for diligent attendance, VBD150,000 for fuel charges, and VND30,000 for female employees. There was an allowance for employees with children of VND100,000 (US$4.30) per month, but this no longer exists, she said. She added that not only have these amounts remained unchanged throughout the years, but they also follow a very strict policy. EVN suggests solutions to rooftop solar power-related issues
In Document No. 3158/TTr-EVN recently submitted to its Members’ Council, the State-owned group pointed out there is currently no clear legal basis for connecting rooftop solar power systems with the national grid as well as the establishments where they are installed for self-consumption. It said in the recent past, EVN and subsidiaries received opinions from investors and the community regarding the temporary suspension of connecting rooftop solar power systems with the grid pending Government issuance of mechanisms and the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s guidance for implementation. Foreign investors and domestic organisations guaranteed by foreign investors or international development funds asked for permission to use their own rooftop solar systems. For example, the Norsk Solar Vietnam Co. Ltd, guaranteed by investors and development funds of the Norwegian and Finnish Governments, asked for permission to use rooftop solar power systems for industrial parks, factories, and … [Read more...] about EVN suggests solutions to rooftop solar power-related issues

Greener travels backed by Web3 technologies
Greener travels backed by Web3 technologies Massive energy use, inappropriate waste management and disposal, loss of biodiversity, heritage management and preservation of indigenous cultures, and lack of communication channels and background information have posed great challenges to sustainable tourism development. However, the application of chain technology to tourism development will have a major impact on the entire industry and open up new opportunities for Vietnamese tourism. In fact, many Vietnamese tourism businesses have recently successfully applied this technology to their operations. Crystal Holidays and Crystal Bay are applying blockchain to connect suppliers with a web3 system to be able to make transactions with end-users, build loyalty programmes, and make secure payments. In addition, the above two units are also designing tokens like Lynkey and calling for investment through this channel. Blockchain-based cryptocurrency makes peer-to-peer transactions … [Read more...] about Greener travels backed by Web3 technologies
Government focuses on rapid, sustainable socioeconomic recovery
The third session of the 15th National Assembly Export-import turnover rises nearly 23 percent According to the report, Vietnam fulfilled seven out of 12 key targets for 2021, with total export-import turnover increasing by 22.6 percent and trade surplus reaching US$4 billion. So far, Vietnam is one of the top six countries in terms of COVID-19 vaccination coverage. Macroeconomic stability has been maintained, major economic balances ensured, and inflation brought under control. However, input prices, especially gasoline and oil, have risen sharply, while the shortage of human resources has affected trade and production activities. Export turnover is dependent heavily on foreign-invested enterprises, while stock, corporate bond and real estate markets are potentially risky. Vu Hong Thanh, chairman of the National Assembly’s Economic Committee, presented a verification report on this issue, praising the results in the context of unprecedented difficulties and challenges … [Read more...] about Government focuses on rapid, sustainable socioeconomic recovery
