Ho Chi Minh City launches military semester program for “little soldiers”

Bac Kan youths receiving gifts The activity was held under the Military Youth Board’s project on encouraging enlisted youths to serve the military, which was approved by the leadership of the General Department of Politics. Accordingly, youths joined dissemination and education activities, including seminars, exchanges and talks with war veterans, and camp-fire activities. The organizers also visited and presented gifts to newly-recruited enlistees, especially needy ones to encourage them to fulfill military service. Young officer exchange program in Singapore concludes
PANO – A delegation of young Vietnamese officers joined an exchange program in Singapore from August 15 - 20. During the program, young officers of the Vietnam People's Army visited and exchanged with their young Singaporean peers. The annual young officers exchange program is part of the all-level delegation exchange mechanism held between the two militaries since the two countries officially established their diplomatic relations. During the five-day program, Vietnam’s 12-member delegation, led by Colonel Dinh Quoc Hung, Head of the Military Youth Committee under the General Department of Politics, visited and had exchanges with Singaporean officers at several military training institutions and units of the Navy, Air Force and Army of Singapore.
