From the beginning of the trading session, financial stocks, such as banks and securities, gained positively, keeping the VN-Index from falling sharply even though many sectors were flooded in the red. Banking stocks that climbed the most on the floor at approximately 3 percent were VIB, BID, TCB, CTG, and MBB. Securities stocks, like VCI, HCM, and VND, also remained in an upward trend. Besides, penny-chip stocks, like HAG, AMD, ITA, and HNG, and steel stocks, including HPG, HSG, and NKG, also went up because of vibrant trading. In contrast, energy and seafood stocks dropped sharply. Specifically, VHC declined by 4.2 percent, ACL retreated by 5.1 percent, NT2 sank by 5.6 percent, VSH slumped by 4.9 percent, and REE slid by 3.5 percent. Liquidity, however, improved compared to the previous session, of which 612 million stocks were traded on the southern bourse, worth over VND13.8 trillion (US$591.1 million). HCMC has 158 testing venues in 2022 national high school graduation exam
Around 85,088 students, including 73,877 students of high schools, 7,883 test-taker of continuing education centers and 3,328 freelance candidates will take part in the 2022 national high school graduation examination with 13,656 education officials, teachers and staff teachers to serve the exam. The organization of this year’s exam remains basically the same as in previous years with three independent tests in Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Languages and a custom test in natural science Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Social Sciences (History, Geography, and Citizen Education) chosen by the candidates. Site clearance for first phase of Long Thanh airport to be completed this month

(Photo: VNA) Dong Nai (VNA) – Long Thanh district in the southern province of Dong Nai has handed over more than 93 percent of land required for the first phase of the Long Thanh international airport project to its investor, the district People’s Committee said at a meeting on July 5. According to the committee, 2,375 hectares out of 2,500 hectares needed for the first phase, have been cleared in service of the construction. Vo Duc Tan, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, asked Long Thanh district to mobilise resources and complete compensation and resettlement to basically hand over the total area within this month.
