The Southeast Asian country scored 78.49 points, ranking 62nd out of the 165 countries, a great leap from its ranking of 101st out of the 171 countries in the previous year. Finland was named as the best country in the world in 2021 for quality of life with 99.06 points, while Denmark and Norway came second and third with 98.13 points and 96.75 points, respectively. Vietnam has greatly improved its living standards as it jumped 39 places to become the 62nd-best country worldwide for quality of life in 2021, according to a report by CEOWORLD . The Southeast Asian nation earned 78.49 points, ranking 62nd out of 165 countries and territories, registering a sharp improvement from its 101st position among 171 countries in 2020. It ranked seventh in the region, while Singapore took the lead with 87.64 points, followed by Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Singapore also held the 19th position in the global rankings. The Cashless Ride program, as a part of this year’s Cashless Day, organized a fair in Da Nang City, central Vietnam on Sunday to introduce digital payment methods to local residents. Speaking at a meeting to review the industry’s performance in the first half of the year and set plans for the latter half, Trần Văn Hiệp, Vinacas’ deputy chairman, said cashew exports in the first five months fell by 7.81 per cent in volume and 6.81 per cent in value to 206,111 tonnes and US$1.19 billion, respectively. The average export price was about $5,792 per tonne, up 1.45 per cent over the same period in 2021.
