The U.S. diplomat highly appeciated the good cooperation between the two countries, saying that the areas of cooperation between Vietnam and the U.S. have been broadened. Coming back to Vietnam after 15 years, the U.S. ambassador has seen remarable results in bilateral cooperation, trade and investment, cooperation in health, climate change, exchange of ideas of science and technology, in defense security. The Fed last week raised its benchmark interest rate by half a percentage point, the most aggressive step yet in its fight against a 40-year high in inflation.
