Garment-textile sector eyes 39 billion USD in export turnover
Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s garment-textile sector sets a target of 39 billion USD in export revenue this year, equal to that of 2019, according to the Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex). Last year, due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the US-China trade tensions, the trade protectionism and the Brexit, Vietnam’s garment-textile exports reached only 35 billion USD. Vinatex recorded total revenue of 15.5 trillion VND (670.7 million USD) and combined profits of 628.9 billion VND, equal to 106 percent and 164.8 percent of the set targets, respectively. Any agreement, especially those that may have legal status such as here, needs to be assessed within the specific framework of the legal system governing those agreements. In the case of these terms of services made by social media networks, there is no such system. No such provisions are offered to the users. This means that all behavior, rights and obligations of users on social media will be reviewed and adjudicated by those who run these platforms. It is difficult to imagine the existence of such a social contract, but they exist for every one of the billions of people who use these platforms. Civil society is similar in a civilized society, where one party is both a signatory and a … [Read more...] about Social media – a revolution to be feared
