PANO – The Hanoi Gift Show 2015 will be held at the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Center (148 Giang Vo Street, Hanoi), as announced at a press conference on July 21. Themed “50 years of victory of Xieng Khouang - Plain of Jars Defensive Campaign – Victory and Lessons,” the event was attended by Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, and Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Sengphet Houngboungnuang, among others. Memorial service for fallen soldiers held in Hue
The 16 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors were collected during the 2021-2022 dry season by Martyrs’ Remains Search and Repatriation Team 192 under the Thua Thien Hue provincial Military Command. At the event, delegates, local leaders, armed forces, and people paid respect to the eminent sons of the nation who sacrificed themselves for national independence, socialism, and noble international duties in Laos.
