Located from ten to 20 meters underground, the second tunnel has had 470 meters out of its total length of 781 meters completed. At the current pace, approximately ten meters of the tunnel can be installed with concrete slabs every day. Construction of this second tunnel began in January and is expected to complete at the beginning of June. ‘France can’t host everyone,’ says Macron in new toughening of migration stance
French President Emmanuel Macron has signalled a tougher line on immigration. "France cannot host everyone if it wants to host people well," Macron told Europe 1 in an interview from the United Nations in New York where he is attending the annual General Assembly. Macron noted France had seen a sharp increase in the numbers of people asking for asylum since the 2017 presidential election and said much tighter European cooperation was needed. "There is not enough cooperation in Europe and we need to look at this migratory phenomenon and take decisions," he said. USD478-million Tan Son Nhat airport terminal project submitted to PM
A VND10.99-trillion (USD478 million) project to build Terminal 3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCM City has been submitted to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc for consideration. The project, to be invested by the Airport Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), includes the construction of Terminal 3 covering 110,000 square metres and serving around 20 million passengers per year and the expansion of the airport landing areas.
