Cao Ngọc Hùng finished second in the men's F57 javelin throw event. The Paralympian took his best result of 44.06m after six attempts. He was behind Muhammet Khalvandi of the hosts Tunisia, who threw 51.33m. Youssoupha Diouf of Senegal was in third with a 41.64m throw. Mach is one of the best bodybuilder s in Vietnam, competing in the men's 55kg category and having won several national championships. The An Giang province-born athlete grabbed five world championship gold medals in 2001, 2009, 2010, 2014 and 2017. He also triumphed in the continental competition eight times, taking seven titles in a row from 2004 to 2012, and another in 2014.
