Over the past five years, leaders at all levels in the GDT have promoted their leadership and created favorable conditions for its youths. Meanwhile, Youth Union work and youth movements in the whole unit have recorded progressive achievements, contributing to accomplishing all political tasks of the unit. In addition, 1,884 Youth Union members have been admitted to the Party. The Youth Union Organization has also closely worked with local Youth Union chapters, contributing to building the civilian-military solidarity. The report annalysing the education sector during 2011-2020 was released at a seminar in Hanoi on August 8. According to the report, the investment in the education sector accounted for more than 18% of the total state budget expenditure, but was still lower than the set rate of 20%. Defense Minister urges speeding up disbursement for major projects
The defense chief made the request at a working session with the two departments on the implementation of and disbursement for the MND’s programs and projects on August 4. At the working session, representatives of the two departments reported that the MND’s disbursement rates in the first seven months of this year were higher than the national ones on average. In order to speed up the disbursement, the MND has issued a number of documents to adjust dozens of projects with low disbursement or inability to be fully disbursed to allocate the capital for new projects signed by the Prime Minister for the 2021-2025 period and approved by the MND for investment in 2022. Samsung plans to invest US$3.3 billion in Vietnam in 2022
The R&D center in Hanoi, scheduled to be completed by late 2022, would be Samsung’s major R&D hub not only in Vietnam but also the whole of Southeast Asia.
