The event, which will run until April 5, has 280 booths introducing goods and services of different localities of Vietnam and foreign firms, along with a trading area and a food court. Dominating the bus ticket market This year Tet holiday, thousands of students in Ho Chi Minh City have a chance to return home to reunite with their families with free tickets that are scholarships from the program of "Ticket of implementing the dream in university". The initiative of this program is Vexere (Vexere Joint Stock Company) - a start-up company that has been operating for less than five years but it has occupied 20 percent of the market share of long-distance bus tickets. Vexere was established in 2003, but it took four years of breeding at the High-Tech Business Incubator. Satellite images of Tan Vinh Hiep Commune in the southern province of Binh Duong don’t show much more, but on the earth, these pictures are worth more than the proverbial thousand words – they tell a thousand stories, and counting. The commune stands just an hour's drive north of Ho Chi Minh City in Tan Uyen Town, and the satellite images are typical of Vietnam's economy in the 21st century. The large corrugated metal roofs are those that cover factories spanning thousands of square meters. Such factories have been the core economic component of both Tan Uyen and the whole province for decades. And most of these factories belong to foreign direct investment (FDI) companies. City tour on double-deckers now available in Hanoi HCMC – Hanoi residents and visitors now can take a city tour on three double-deckers recently launched, with tickets ranging from VND300,000 (US$13.13) to VND650,000 per person, Tuoi Tre Online reports. Each open-top double-decker is expected to serve 70 passengers, and operates on 25 different routes along with 13 stops offering easy access to tourist attractions, historical sites in Hanoi. The buses depart every 30 minutes from 9:00 a.m. to 6:10 p.m., and the last trip will depart at 5:00 p.m. The service varies in options. For example, passengers will pay VND300,000 for a four-hour tour, VND450,000 for a day, and VND650,000 for a two-day trip. They can buy tickets on buses or at bus stops.
