Exhibition at national portrait gallery

The ceremony was jointly organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Philatelic Association, and the Vietnam Post. From 506 stamp frames gathered by collectors of all ages, the jury carefully analyzed and selected the best frames for the award. In detail, four gold prizes were given to collector Luu Van Luong from the Hanoi Stamp Association, collector Ngo Viet Vinh from the Ho Chi Minh City Stamp Association, collector Nguyen Hoai Thanh from the Can Tho provincial Stamp Association, and collector Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc from the Khanh Hoa provincial Stamp Association. The event was part of the activities to mark the 200th birthday of poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu (1822 - 2022). More than 300 documents, photos and items are divided into four parts, including “Hometown and family,” “Life,” “Nguyen Dinh Chieu’s poems,” and “Nguyen Dinh Chieu will forever live.” Of displayed documents, photos and items about the poet’s hometown, nation, family, and career, there are rare editions of the works “Luc Van Tien,” “Duong Tu - Ha Mau,” and “Medical questions and answers,” among others. The kick-off conference on the national action plan for the circular economy and net-zero emissions - from commitment to action At the conference, national and international partners exchanged successful circular economy (CE) models from the region and globally, with the intention of identifying suitable models that can be applied in Vietnam. The forum provided an important opportunity for all parties to exchange ideas and prioritise mechanisms and policies to promote CE models. The city's total tourism revenue in the first half of 2022 amounted to approximately 25.2 trillion VND (1.08 billion USD), more than three times higher than the figure in the first six months of 2021. Local hotels rated 1-5 stars recorded an average occupation rate of over 30% during the period, up 6.11% year-on-year. The capital city, home to 24 recognised tourist destinations, is offering a series of enticing products to attract tourists given its reopening of the local tourism industry. About 8.61 million tourists visited Hanoi in the first half of this year, marking a three-time jump over the same period last year, according to the municipal Department of Tourism.
