Cultural industry to contribute to 10% of Hanoi’s GRDP by 2045
The city plans to raise the cultural industry’s contribution to GRDP to 5% by 2025 and 8% by 2030. From now to 2025, Hanoi will focus its efforts on boosting a number of cultural industries in line with local advantages and potential, including cultural tourism, handicraft, performing arts, cinema, designing, culinary, entertainment software and games, advertising, architecture, photography and exhibition, fashion, television and radio and publishing. By the end of this decade, the capital also sets to turn the cultural industry into a key economic sector driving the others’ growth. Quang Ninh refutes allegations of sea encroachment in Ha Long Bay

(Photo nld.com.vn) Quang Ninh (VNS/VNA ) - The People's Committee of northern coastal Quang Ninh province has refuted information that it has allowed a project to conduct sea encroachment and subdivide land plots for sale, which seriously undermined the conservation of the UNESCO-recognised Ha Long Bay . The committee said the information circulating online about a development project encroaching into the bay in recent days was "not true."
