Non-public facilities took in 85 per cent, 13 per cent, 0.7 per cent, 0.9 per cent, 7 per cent, and 13 per cent of children and students at the kindergarten, pre-school, primary, secondary, high and university levels, respectively. In the 2016-2017 school year there were 35 advanced programmes in 23 training facilities and 16 high-quality engineering programmes according to the standards of France at four training facilities and 56 high-quality programmes in other facilities. Topica Edtech Group Online education firm Topica Edtech Group has recently wrapped up a $50 million investment in Series D funding from Singapore-based private equity firm Northstar Group, marking one of the largest funding rounds received by a Vietnamese tech firm to date. Topica provides a range of online educational products, including live tutoring courses led by native English speakers from the US, the UK and other countries. The company plans to use the fresh overseas fund to develop new products and upgrade its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
