The two had a good result in the final rounds to finish top at the golf event. Natthakritta Vongtaveelap scored 14-under-par in the final round to beat her opponents and top the podium. The Thai player kept her momentum from the first and second rounds as she earned 5-under-par and 10-under-par. Scoring seven-under-par in the final round, Singapore’s Aloysa Margiela Atienza Mabutas took home silver. A CBRE report said there was good recovery in the office market with total net absorption in the first quarter of 17,000 square metres (sq.m), equivalent to 32 per cent in 2021. Relocation accounted for 55 per cent of the transactions, lease renewal for 25 per cent and expansion for 20 per cent, it said. There were transactions for large areas in some high-quality grade B buildings in both the CBD and other hubs such as Thu Thiem new urban area, District 7 and District 10, the company said. Savills said demand for office space was 16,500sq.m compared to just 1,500sq.m in the fourth quarter of 2021. (Photo: VNA) Vinh Phuc – Golfer Ervin Chang of Malaysia pocketed the gold medal in the men’s singles event on May 15 at the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) 31. The silver went to Amadeus Susanto Christian of Indonesia and Weerawish Narkprachar of Thailand took bronze. In the women’s singles event, Thailand’s Natthakritta Vongtaveelap came on top, while the silver went to Aloysa Mabutas Margiela Atienza of Singapore and the bronze to Jeneath Wong of Malaysia. Golf competitions at SEA Games 31 began on May 13 at Heron Lake Golf Course & Resort in the northern province of Vinh Phuc, with the participation of 55 golfers from nine countries, and will last through May 18. Five golfers qualify for final round of VCCI Challenge
Photo: golfworld Five golfers have qualified for the final round of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Challenge Series after good performances in the first qualifying round at the Kings Island Golf Course. The first qualifying round saw 120 golfers competing in men's and women's handicap divisions of 0-16, 16-32 and over-32. Vietnam's Nguyen Van Tinh won the Callaway Division with a score of 75, while Nguyen Cuu Long took the lead in Division B with 66 points. Le Minh Tuan finished top of Division A with 67. RoKorean Kim Yeong-jin won the Ladies division with a score of 77, while fellow Kwon Heyo-tae came out on top of the men's low gross division. The next qualifying round is set to be held at the HCM City Long Thanh Golf Resort on July 17.
