The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in collaboration with the Kien Giang provincial Department of Tourism launched a tourism stimulus programme in Phu Quoc, known as the Pearl Island in Vietnam, on November 22. As many as 150 representatives of local airlines, travel agencies, hotels, as well as experts participated in the ceremony. Addressing delegates, Ha Van Sieu, deputy director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, noted Phu Quoc is the first destination in Vietnam chosen to organize a tourism stimulus programme, with the engagement of travel-focused micro influencers (KOL) and farmtrip travelers.
