At a conference reviewing 10 years of the anti-corruption campaign, Trong said fighting corruption has become a trend that cannot be reversed, and the movement is supported by the people, authorities and acknowledged by the international community. According to the MoF, it is crucial to slash the MFN tax rate to 12 percent for gasoline to diversify petroleum supply to avoid being passive by depending on import sources from South Korea and the ASEAN only.
