Downpours are in the forecast across southern Vietnam over the next days due to the influence of a southwest monsoon. Due to the effect of the southwest monsoon, medium to heavy rains are expected to hit large areas across the region from Monday to Wednesday, according to the southern hydro-meteorological forecasting. The average rainfall will be 50 to 120 millimeters in southeast localities, including Ho Chi Minh City, and 50 to 130 millimeters in the Mekong Delta.
