Vietnam reports no new Covid-19 cases Tuesday morning

HCMC – The Ministry of Health reported no new Covid-19 cases this morning, March 9, keeping the country’s tally unchanged at 2,524.
Up to now, the country has reported 1,585 locally-infected cases, with 893 recorded in 13 cities and provinces since January 27.
Ten Covid-19-hit provinces and cities have seen no fresh locally-transmitted cases for 24 days, including HCMC, Hoa Binh, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Binh Duong, Hung Yen, Bac Giang, Gia Lai, Bac Ninh, and Quang Ninh.
As many as 1,920 Covid-19 patients have made a full recovery. Among the active cases, 137 patients have tested negative for Covid-19 three times and 57 others have tested negative for two times.
More than 45,200 people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients or returned to Vietnam from Covid-19-hit countries are being quarantined, including 506 people at hospitals, 14,266 at quarantine centers and 30,446 at home.
