Furie is entered in the competition section while Daddy Issue will be screened during the closing ceremony. Le Van Kiet’s action film is scheduled to be shown on March 12 and 16, also marking Furie’s international premiere. The competition section will feature 14 Asian films made on or after 1st October 2017 and unreleased in Japan. The winners will be chosen by an international jury. Furie tells the story of a woman in the Mekong Delta facing dangers to save her child. It features actress, producer and director Ngo Thanh Van, aka Veronica Ngo. Russian team wins Whitehat Grand Prix 2018

In the final round, teams had to overcome security breaches in a challenge that lasted eight hours. LC1BC’s first place finish came with a prize of 230 million VND (10,000 USD). The Republic of Korea’s Coconut Coffee team and Polish P4team came second and third, earning approximately 45 million VND and 25 million VND (2,000 and 1,000 USD), respectively. Three teams from Vietnam – Injoker10K, ACEBEA, and r3s0L – secured the 5th, 6th and 8th place, respectively. Vietnamese places second at Chambéry French Grand Prix
