A scene in Trinh and I movie The bullet of the madman by director Luong Dinh Dung hit theaters on May 20, overwhelming the audience with the team's willingness to spend on the film. The film has a series of great scenes flattering viewers and making a strong visual impression. In particular, the scene at Dinh Vu port in the Northern City of Hai Phong over an area of 20,000 meters square with more than tens of thousands of containers is the highlight. The film crew also mobilized 57 container trucks and seven 25m-high light cars to meet the light for big action scenes. For the rain scenes, many complex rain systems were mobilized, each day the crew had to use up to 20,000-30,000 liters of water. Director of photography Morgan Schmidt admitted that Dinh Vu Port was the most difficult scene in the film. Of the total, the export value of apparel, phones and components, and seafood hit US$392.278 million, US$314.862 million, and US$139.5 million, growing 57.59, 22.97, and 73.56 percent annually, respectively. In 2021, despite Covid-19, Vietnam shipped goods worth US$5.3 billion to Canada, an annual increase of 20.8 percent. The Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), of which both nations are members, has been considered the leverage behind such growth. The pact came into force in late 2018. Vietnam also signed a free trade agreement with Canada, therefore enjoying tariff reduction or elimination. Notably, since January 1, 2021, Canada removed a total of 96.3 percent of the tax lines for goods originated from Vietnam. According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Canada, Vietnam is the biggest partner in Southeast Asia of the North American nation. However, room for Vietnamese products to enter the Canadian market remains large, as their value now … [Read more...] about Vietnamese goods make inroads into Canadian market

Hastily converted from sports stadiums, schools and cultural venues, Wuhan's 16 makeshift "ark" hospitals were designed to ease the burden on the city's overstretched healthcare system. (Photo: AFP/STR) When 43-year-old Ma was first summoned to a sports stadium converted into a medical facility on Feb 4, it was a virtual construction site with electrical wiring and beds still being installed. Separated from his wife and young child who had returned to eastern Shandong province for Chinese New Year, Ma said he felt "scared and anxious" when the call from the jury-rigged Wuchang hospital came in the middle of the night. But the situation has slowly improved, with the number of patients receiving treatment in the improvised hospital declining from a high of 760 in mid-February to 320 earlier this week. "We had 30-40 patients being discharged per day, but the number of patients admitted was only a dozen or so. This was when the whole situation changed for us," Ma, who is the … [Read more...] about Wuhan doctor recounts fears and hope at COVID-19 frontline
