BMW Group Asia and Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO) have launched the new BMW 5 Series sedan, which represents a pinnacle in style and innovation and features advanced technologies, engineering and exterior design features.
The 2021 BMW 5 Series comes in three variants, the BMW 520i Luxury Line, 520i M Sport and the most advanced version, 530i M Sport.
The luxurious interiors of the vehicles include premium upholstery options, which give them an even more upscale appearance.
With a fresh new design, from the kidney grille and bumpers to the geometric headlights and taillights, the BMW 5 Series emphasises the evolving exteriors of this refined sedan. It also has a spacious and plush cabin.
Along with the freshness in its looks, the 2021 5-series also boasts a new 48-volt hybrid powertrain, a larger 12.3-inch infotainment system and upgraded driver-assistance features.
It in fact offers a host of powertrain options to suit customers’ needs, whether fuel efficiency or a roaring V-8 performance. Good design makes the cockpit of the 5-series a sophisticated space, and represents a noticeable upgrade from its predecessor.
It also offers a lot of space for passengers in the back and features an impressive array of technologies.
The optional 20-way multi-contour front seats adjust in every way imaginable, and provide hours-long comfort.
All 5-series models come with a digital gauge display that can be configured to show a variety of information to the driver.
Navigation, a USB port, Bluetooth audio, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability are included in the tech suite.
Many driver-assistance features are standard and additional tech is optional, including a navigation-based semi-autonomous driving mode that can even plan for upcoming lane changes based on GPS data.
With standard BMW Live Cockpit Professional and intuitive technologies like the Digital Instrument Cluster and a Central Information Display touchscreen, it delivers seamlessly integrated entertainment, navigation and safety features, and more.
Digital connectivity features have been upgraded and made more modern in the new BMW 5 Series.
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional and the BMW 7.0 operating system are standard features in, and many new digital features have been added.
The updated BMW Intelligent Voice Control is also standard in the new BMW 5 Series.
Wireless smartphone connectivity for compatibility with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is available in all versions.
First unveiled in 1972, the BMW 5 Series has undergone nearly 50 years of development over seven generations and sold more than eight million cars worldwide.
It has won a number of prestigious awards and is one of the most successful of all BMW models.
