The Vietnamese ballet team lifts the trophy at the regional tournament. The team beat off competition from hundreds of rivals from 17 countries worldwide in order to achieve a gold medal finish in the ballet group section of the Asia Art Festival 2019. The 14-member team are from the Hanoi Kids Art Center and impressed both the judges and audience with a performance themed "Waltz of Flower" which is choreographed by Dam Han Giang. Their strong performance receive praise for their outstanding skills and collective timing. The victory marks the first time that a Vietnamese ballet team has won a top prize in the Asian competition. Viet Nam News Lê Ngọc Văn is the pride of Vietnamese ballet. He was the first artist to work with the English National Ballet back in 2003, and recently returned to Việt Nam at the invitation of Việt Nam National Opera and Ballet (VNOB).
