Government leader welcomes Chilean, Canadian diplomats

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc (R) and Chilean Ambassador Jaime Chomali Garib (Photo: VNA) Meeting with Chilean Ambassador Jaime Chomali Garib, PM Phuc said Vietnam and Chile boast substantial potential for broader cooperation in trade links while calling the two nations’ ministries, agencies and businesses to carefully study other’s markets. US trade delegation welcomed in Hanoi

At the meeting, the US delegates informed the Vietnamese Party official about their trip in Vietnam, including working sessions with the ministries of Industry and Trade, Foreign Affairs, Public Security, and with the State Bank of Vietnam. Binh was appreciative of the contents and outcomes of these meetings as well as the healthy growth of the Vietnam – US comprehensive partnership with practical outcomes across diverse fields, covering regional and global aspects. The Vietnamese Party and State greatly value ties with the US, considering the country one of Vietnam’s top partners, particularly in economic and trade cooperation, Binh told his guests. Top Vietnamese leader expects stronger ties with Thailand

Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong (R) hosts Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Prawit Wongsuwan During the reception, Trong underscored Vietnam’s unwavering policy of treasuring and fostering its time-honoured friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Thailand, adding that the Thai high-ranking military delegation’s visit to Vietnam will help further reinforce the friendship between the two armed forces as well as the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership.
