Among them, the Danang branch is the bank’s first in the central region, adding to its existing network of branches and transaction offices in the northern and southern areas of the country. With the opening of the Danang branch, Shinhan Bank has completed its goal of expanding its network nationwide in 2019.
Shinhan Bank has its network located in most favoured locations in big cities across the country, with the entities based in Danang, Hanoi, Haiphong, and Binh Duong– Vietnam’s robust financial centres – are structured for operation as multi-function banking units.
By opening these new branches, Shinhan Bank aims to attract more investment from Korea as well as effectively support Vietnamese corporate customers. The bank has established the Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) division to provide Corporate Banking (CB) and Investment Banking (IB) services to customers.
Hence, this network expansion will give Shinhan Bank more opportunities to serve a wider range of customers and leverage their business with the bank’s international-standard financial services.
In addition to the strength of corporate banking services, Shinhan Bank’s four new branches and transaction offices also offer digital banking to provide customers with excellent financial products and services on the basis of advanced technology, ensuring convenience and optimal financial solutions.
Besides, Shinhan Bank’s branches and transaction offices also offer Shinhan Private Wealth Management (Shinhan PWM). With a team of talented and experienced relationship managers, Shinhan PWM provides excellent and comprehensive financial solutions, ranging from personal wealth management to daily banking services.
The recent grand opening ceremony at Shinhan Bank’s Danang branch on August 15 welcomed the CEO of Shinhan Bank from Korea; representatives of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, representatives of the Danang People’s Committee and the State Bank of Vietnam’s Danang branch who arrived to congratulate Shinhan Bank on the important occasion.
Also at this ceremony, Shinhan Bank took the chance to award scholarships to underprivileged students in this central city.
Shinhan Bank’s representative said: “Danang, Hanoi, Haiphong and Binh Duong are the large financial centers in the north, the central and the south of the country. The statistics shows that in recent years, these cities, typically Danang, have seen the thriving growth in finance and banking industry. At the same time, the demand for financial products and services of people in these four cities is much higher and increasingly diversified. These factors promise to create favorable conditions for Shinhan Bank to expand its operation scale and sustainably grow at these local markets in the near future”.
With this turning point, Shinhan Bank has affirmed its sustainable growth in the Vietnamese market. In the coming time, Shinhan Bank aims to continue bringing local customers optimal products, services, and outstanding financial benefits.
