Nashville’s own country comic fan Brad Paisley played into the “Avengers: Endgame” hype earlier this month, gifting Robert Downey Jr. (you know, Tony Stark!) with a custom Iron Man guitar. The Fender Telecaster features a hot rod red finish and glowing bulb, not unlike the chest piece sported by Tony Stark in the superhero films. Paisley gifted the guitar to Downey Jr. during an April episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” dedicated to promoting Marvel’s tent pole blockbuster. Paisley — sitting in with the show’s house band — played the exchange as a birthday gift for Downey Jr., who turned 54 on April 4. Paisley learned the actor liked to play a little guitar and had the instrument made ahead of the show, a representative told the Tennessean. During the segment, Paisley joked with Marvel costar and “Kimmel” guest Chris Hemsworth (you know, Thor!), who apparently forgot to get Downey Jr. a gift. “Hemsworth, I’ve, like, met the guy twice,” Paisley said. “You should be ashamed of yourself.” Paisley hasn’t been shy about his Marvel fandom, often showing action figures and cinema selfies on social media….
